Get to Know Dr. Herko, Your Dentist in New Providence
Dr. Herko’s interest in dentistry began when she was in high school and worked as an orthodontist’s assistant. She admired the doctor with whom she worked and began to envision a career in public health. Then, Dr. Herko followed her desire to New York Medical College. Here, she earned a Master’s degree in Public Health. She went on to earn her DDS from New York University in 2006.
One of Dr. Herko’s favorite aspects of practicing dentistry is that no two days are alike. She always meets new individuals, listens to their tales, and learns about their unique backgrounds and requirements. Patients drive Dr. Herko’s practice, and she enjoys building long-term connections with them and assisting them in maintaining optimal dental health.
Dr. Herko, dentist 07974, spends her time away from the workplace with her two children, husband, and dog. As a mother, Dr. Herko understands the value of good dental health for the entire family. Thus, when you visit New Providence Dentistry, our New Providence NJ Dentist will treat you and your family as if they were an extension of her own.
Dr. Malkiewich
Dr. Lisa Malkiewich earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Siena College. She subsequently went on to get her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ.
Dr. Malkiewich is dedicated to listening to each patient’s needs and providing high-quality dental care to every one of them. She is a member of the NJDA as well as the AGD.
Dr. Malkiewich enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer, and going to the beach when she is not in the office.
Dr. Steven Reff
Dr. Steven Reff’s significant experience allows him to give the finest quality of surgical treatment while remaining kind and compassionate. He obtained his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he graduated first in his class. His professors rewarded him by inducting him into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. He was also president of the dental school’s Global Dental Organization and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society study group.
After finishing his postgraduate training in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Reff began working in private practice. In addition, he was granted a coveted teaching position at the postgraduate program at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Reff, who has a strong interest in implant dentistry, finished a three-year rigorous hands-on training program in oral implantology and achieved a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Reff is delighted to be working alongside Dr. Herko in her New Providence office.
